Bio      Nancy Jane Shiflett, 58, Independence, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Shiflett was born Jan. 24, 1943, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Henry and Mary Ann Kelsey. She was co-owner with her husband for 36 years at Donnell's Motorcycles Inc. She was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, doing photography, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Sparta Methodist Church and had attended Frazier Baptist Church. Her survivors include her husband, Donnell Shiflett of the home; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Jeff Samenus, Kansas City; her son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Leigh Ann Shiflett, Independence; three grandchildren, Kelsey and Connor Samenus and Tallon Shiflett; her mother, Mary Ann Kelsey, St. Joseph; two sisters, Marianne Lough and husband, Bill, Wichita, Kan., and Alice Lee Christgen, St. Joseph; her brother, David Kelsey and wife, Sherrill, Agency, Mo.; her aunt, Lois Wood; and Lara, Greg, Pamela and Tyeson. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Carondelet Hospice, 201 W. R.D. Mize, Blue Springs, Mo. 64014, or to Cancer Action, 1831 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan. 66102.
