Bio | Donald R. Clark, 60, of Warrensburg, MO, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at the Warrensburg Manor Care Center. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Williams Funeral Chapel, Warrensburg, with Rev. Dale Matherly officiating. Family will receive friends immediately after the service at the family home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral chapel. Mr. Clark was born Tuesday, January 5, 1943, in Gower, MO, the son of Jewel Clark and Frances Culp Clark. Mr. Clark graduated from Gower High School in 1961 and was in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1963. He served and was a plank owner on the USS Enterprise. He owned and operated the Clark Ford and Mercury dealership in Rock Port, MO, from 1969 to 1982, and had worked for the Ford and Mercury dealership in Clinton and Warrensburg. Since 1993, he had been a commercial real estate appraiser in Warrensburg. Mr. Clark was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Gower, MO. On January 21, 1961, he married Shirley Tucker in Plattsburg, MO; she survives of the home. Also surviving are two sons, Rod Clark and wife, Joyce, and Bob Clark, all of Kansas City; brother, Ellis Clark and his wife, Nancy, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; two grandchildren, Jessi Clark, Warrensburg, and Andrew Clark, Kansas City, MO; and two nephews, Larry and Lance Clark, and a niece, Lisa Clark, all of Lake of the Ozarks.
